Saaaaturday!

Ahhhhhh.... a gorgeous Saturday here in the Valley of the Sun!   I drove my son to work today -- what is it with men who have to take apart their "toys" to... *ahem* ... "make them better"  and then they don't work? Well, that's what Brian did a couple weeks back.  On Thursday, his bike didn't work and he had to order a new part.  My own personal mantra, or golden rule, is this:  If it ain't broke, don't fix it!!

But. on the other hand, it got me up and out of the house.  I took Sadie to Riparian Preserve for a long hour's walk, and she really likes the walk.  But mostly the playing in the creek near the end of the walk. hahaha.  She enjoys greeting all the kids, and the other dogs.  There are a few big ones that intimidate her.  But not the ducks, or the geese.  Those she'll chase all day long.  Dogs -- aren't they fun ?!?!?

Work has been stressful.  We are without a Captain on our ship, and there are two female co-captains who each have a different style of leadership, as well as different ideals of how things should be done.  One is laid back, picks a path, and executes.  The other is almost ADD in her approach to work, and reacts to every little fire with fast, high pitched talking.  Either style works for me as there isn't much direction to me from them.  Altho females who talk fast are like fingernails on a chalkboard to my pysche.  *sigh*  Which means every week feels long and dragged out.
