Roof Tops

Friday night... and to me it has felt like Saturday all day.  When we drove past a school, I was trying to figure out what was going on, there was a line of cars waiting to get into the parking lot.... *laughs* they were waiting to pick up kids!   --smh--   It's been a mixed up day like that all day!

Walked around Home Depot for a bit, gathering supplies to fix the roof.  When it rains hard like it did last summer, my roof has a slight leak, and of course, they never get better by themselves.  Supplies in hand, headed home to climb up the ladder and try to figure out where the water would seep in and tried to seal it.  Now we wait until summer monsoons ... and see if it worked!

Nice sunny day in the Valley, I took Sadie for a morning walk, then we sat in the sun off and on, me doing some reading, Sadie chewing on her bone.  It seems there are new neighbors behind us.  The house had been empty for a few months (I think the older woman there was moved to a home, or else passed away.   They were having a DISH installed on the roof, and it seems they have a dog.  From the sound of the bark, not a small dog!  Sadie barked, and it barked back all afternoon.  Hopefully they aren't the kind who leave a dog out all night.... it will disturb Sadie- who in turn disturbs my sleep.  Ahh me.
