My "go with me everywhere, never leave home without it" camera quit working, the lens won't open or autofocus any longer. It's a Canon Powershot and served me well, 3 years! So goodbye old friend, they don't make any more like you. So I had to upgrade, to the Powershot SX400. I bought it in Bright Red this time! It's a little bit bigger than I wanted, but it'll take some great photos, can't wait to get out there :)
Within the same 24 hour period, in the middle of the night, my old TV went "poof" with a flash and a slight burning smell -- yicky at 3am! It's an old 2003 19" tube type, that took up lots of room, had to have special attachments in order to watch digital TV (after they switched over from analog) So, I broke down and bought a smart TV for my bedroom, 24" - a little smaller than I thought I wanted, but it's a nice size, not overpowering. I'll use the difference in price and put that toward a bigger TV for the living room when that one goes kaput too. I figure it'll be about 2 years behind this one. hahaha
Maybe I need to get outdoors and ... demagnetize or ground myself with bare feet touching earth. Wouldn't be a bad idea if it wasn't hot hot hot out there. Maybe my early morning walk on Saturday will be in bare feet :)Happy Thursday!
