Dry Brushing

I just discovered the Art of dry brushing.  I took a natural bristle brush and started with my feet, working up legs, torso and arms.  I then showered . An hour later my skin is still lightly tingling and feels terrific!

I checked out some websites and found that others find this practice to be relaxing, with benefits to the health and appearance of ski  and perhaps health benefits to the body's lymphatic system.  I plan to continue with this practice and see what I notice for myself.

I started this because I have skin issues due to an allergic reaction to the mineral oil found in a jar of baby oil.  I thought it would be a great moisturizer but I broke out in hives that became very itchy for a week.  Thankfully that phase has passed and I am recovering nicely.  But the hives are now peeling and look unsightly.

Dry brushing doesn't take much more than a good quality natural bristle brush and less than 15 minutes a day .... what do you have to lose?
