Achy Breaky Feet

It's Wednesday evening.  I worked today - of course - but my heart wasn't in it. Neither were my feet.  They seemed very unhappy to be trudging up and down and back again.  By lunch, they were screaming expletives at me!   I finished out my day and dashed home for a good long dose of "lemme put my feet up".  And promptly found myself dozing, so I hobbled from living room to bedroom and crashed for a nap.

But as I sat down at the computer to check on things, do some stuff, and catch up with folks, I have been finding lately that there just isn't that much that interests me!   Oh sure, I check into Facebook and see what's up with family and friends.  I check a few websites that are my usual haunts to see if there is anything that catches my eye.  And of course, I stop in to look at my photo website.  Perhaps this weekend I'll do some reorganizing on that site.  I am not happy with the new changes, but I keep telling myself that it's nice to have a place to store my photos and keep them safe.  However.  I'm not happy with the cost.  After 8 years, $320 in fees.  *sigh*  If I cancel, all the photos and tags will be gone.  So what to do??  Its the same in other places like Flickr -- if you want the "pro" look, it costs money.  And truly, photos are my one vice... so I think I'll keep it.  For now.

Better get busy - maybe I'll check for a recipe to soak my feet.
Or better yet, grab a few rocks and try a hot rock massage!
I'm SOOO ready for a weekend.... aren't you too????
Hope yours is a good one :)

Class of '77

I took myself on a tour of Wilcox High School in Santa Clara.
Even though things have changed a lot, some thing don't change.
This is in The Quad.  This tree has been there for years,
everything else seems newer.
Of course I had to have a picture....  37 years ago.

This is our class plaque around the flag pole in front of the school.
Time sure flies!  Have you gone back to your old stomping grounds?
It sure brings back memories in a rush!
