Last of Summer??

The last month of summer in the heat of the Arizona desert is hard to endure.  I got up Saturday morning and it was 100 degrees by 9am, and 108 at 1pm.  

Everything you attempt to do is factored by the heat.  Go for a walk? Uh, nope.  OK, I did walk to the mailbox to get my mail.  

Clean the back patio?  Straighten up the garage?  Yeah, just too hot to do very much. Simple chores like clean the bathroom or vacuum the house aren't so bad. But not much else that isn’t necessary gets done.

Beginning in May, I start repeating my mantra, hurry up Sept 15th.  Only two weeks to go. I'm ready!!!
