Mom, Games and TV

Mom asked me to load solitaire on her iPad. So I did.  And talk about funny watching her!

Her fingers are always cold and her ability do "touch screen" is quite amusing.  She taps the screen and nothing happens.  Then she touches again and it happens twice.

She has the same problem operating her remote. Along with forgetting which button to push!!

Then after finishing the solitaire game, there's an ad. And she can't see the little X in the corner.  Online games won't be her forte!

It took me five months to teach her how to use the remote, to speak into the microphone to "open Netflix ". When she says it, she says it, she over pronounces and you never know what's really going to open!

She's part of that generation where as a kid she had no tv, then black and white tv, then color tv, and now, a tv smarter than she is!!

TV has come a long way :)

It was a pretty good day otherwise. I had papers notarized for mom's banking.  My attitude was ... adjusted and I slept well, so all in all pretty good.
