Humor: Helen the Elder

Every day at work, I have breaks and lunch with my friend, Helen. She's a few years older than me, but we found we're very much alike. Both of us worked, and loved, the fabrics/crafts departments for years with Wal-mart. So over the last year or so, we've been getting to know each other pretty well.

Today, we were talking about the internet, and my best friend, and signs. Two weekends ago, my internet went down all weekend. Last weekend, my best friend's internet went down as well. Helen said it was a sign. This past weekend, his went down again. Helen is SURE this is a sign now! about my friend and I getting together. I shook my head, and she looked at me all serious and said "But what if he can't get it up this weekend?" And the minute that flew out of her mouth, we both turned red, and laughed so hard! I'm certain other people in the building were wondering what all the cackling was about-- not that we could help ourselves!

I think I'll stay home for the weekend!!!! *winks*
