The next step, of course, is getting the kid to clean his bathroom top to bottom, including his shower. I added that after it was clean, he needed to put some car wax on the upper part of the shower walls, as it would make cleanup for a long while a whole lot easier. He nodded, said he'd never thought of that, and I didn't think about it again.
That Sunday afternoon, I'm in my room, and I hear this noise.... our house isn't far from a major freeway, so if there's some kind of incident, we often hear a helicopter flying toward it. I figured it would move along, but I kept hearing it. And thought, "Wow! He must be hovering close!" and ran out the back door to take a peek. Funny, but outside, I couldn't hear it at all. Walking back in, I realized it was louder INside, and panicked, thinking my AC unit was making funky noises. I followed the noise, however, and walked around, into the front bathroom. There was the kid, standing in the tub, with the orbital buffer pressed against the shower wall! I never laughed so hard.... THAT's ONE WAY TO MAKE IT SHINE!
hugggs to everyone!
