Feeling Psychic?

Do you ever wonder if you're psychic?   I seem to have a better than average "sense", so my best friend challenged me to try "zener cards"  (here)  It shows you a screen with a card in the middle, and five different cards below it.  You're supposed to guess which card will appear next.  When you mouseclick a card, it shows you the real card, and keeps a tally of how many cards you guess right.  So I've been giving it a try ... 3 tries per night, to be exact.  Just to see what the chances are, and what my average would be.  In 25 tries, the average or "chance" of guessing the right card is 5 out of 25 times.


So how good am I doing?

(He Says): wow... 4325 guesses... 865 expected and you have 955, for 22.08%
(He Says): and staying above chance...for that many guesses? is huge

Does that change how I perceive myself?
Does it change my thinking or thought processes?
Nope, I'm still me!

(Although, without telling him, I'm chuckling to myself.  Because I have told him over and over again, that I am not your average ordinary female!  Do you think he believes me now??   *hahaha* )

Another aspect of feeling psychic isn't from sensing things .. its hearing things that others don't hear.  So, its 2am, i'm asleep, and yes the tv is on, playing an episode of friends.  And something wakes me up.  I hear a man singing while playing guitar, sounds like a folk song.  It was loud enough that it woke me up, and I was aware of it for about six seconds before it fades out.  I glance at the clock, and then at the TV, assuming it was a background song behind the dialog.  It was a dvd, so I rewind it, and play it again -- so that I can hear the song again.  And nope, it wasn't from the TV.  I sit up in bed higher, and listen harder than ever, thinking that a neighbor was having a fine time.  Nothing but silence. 

So what's up with that?
