Road Trip!

I haven't posted in a couple of days; work and gym time has taken its toll on my available time.  (Is it May 2nd yet?  That's when my BigBox Store's annual inventory fiasco is over!)   On a positive note, my trainer weighed me in - down 3 lbs!  Which was good, in my book.  However, he noticed I was a little sluggish on Weds -- well, after working 32 hours in 3 days, you betcha I'm a little sluggish!  It's OK, I pushed through and impressed him, even though I got wobbly the last 10 reps on what we call "step ups".  (which is stepping up onto a 12" high stool, on one foot, holding 15lb dumbells in each hand. ugh)

:::::How women think:::::  At work, I have a friend named MaryAnn.  We're about the same age, and each of us have lived through similar things with marriage, family, kids.  So we talk and share; we've known each other about 2 years now.  I know things about her family, and she knows bits about mine.  She also knows about what I'll call my crazy crush.  She's watched me go through the ups and downs as this crush works its way around in my life.  And she always asks:  "When?"  and my answer is always "Nothing's changed."  (there's usually a frowny face too!)  And as it goes between women and how we tend to grumble about men (in the overall sense) we have assumed that this crush of mine has lost his marbles!  And we decided one day that we ought to "let him know what we think" .......  And the following exchange has become a great joke between us!

We need to take a road trip!
Oh yes, that would be fun!
We'll hop in the car,
and along the way, 
we'll drive to his house,
knock on the door,
turn around and moon him!!

Oh yeah, we'd have fun on a road trip, for sure :)

Maybe it would be like Thelma and Louise, 

and we'd find  a sexy cowboy type to hitch along! (Any volunteers???)
