Every now and then, a celebrity cruises through my BigBox store.... Thursday it was Samuel L. Jackson! When I think of celebrities, I think of great clothes, awesome shoes, perfect makeup. The reality is they're just people and sometimes they just wanna dash in a normal every day store and grab what they need and get out, without a bunch of recognition. We've become accustomed to the usual football players, as many have homes, or family, out in our area. But it's nice to know that they're just regular people who need sugary snacks, salty chips and toilet paper just like me!
It'll be a constant things where I'm working on "wedding fever" stuff for a while. I'm making centerpieces out of this and that; it's fun being creative! But I'll be hoping to have the majority done by Thanksgiving - having the whole family here for a "too-doo" which will be very very nice :)
Only a couple more weeks of heat and then the cool-down should begin, and we'll have nice evenings, cool nights, which makes for awesome walks in the morning!
Wednesday, I walked Sadie around my block before work, like I do every day, and there was a loose pomeranian who came close to bark and give Sadie a sniff. I paused not wanting to spook the little dog, and lights came on, a car drove close to the curb and someone asked "Is this your dog?" "Nope." That's when I noticed it was a cop car. There were 3 other cop cars in front of a house across the street.. What's so dire that 4 cops are needed at 5am? Kind of spooked me; Sadie and I dashed off to finish our walk in a hurry!
My computer did a boot while I was writing this, so it's being published a couple days late.
Grrrr Microsoft!
