Yes to the Dress!

Ok, I found out today that this is a TV show... I was watching an episode this morning before heading out to take engagement photos, then off to David's Bridal to see about a dress for my girl.

The first dress she tried on was .... a good dress.  She liked it.  Then tried on several more that she didn't like.  The last dress she tried on wasn't the color she thought she wanted, thought it was too plain in the bodice, and too pouffy in the skirt part.  However, once she put it on and did "the runway walk" ....  I could tell by her face, in her eyes, that this was the dress!

Happy Momma moment!

We had a good shopping weekend, getting the little things, checking out clearance prices at Hobby Lobby on all things wedding on Friday, followed by a trip into a Walmart, into a Goodwill, and then off to dinner at the Yard House.  Younger crowd, a little too noisy for me, and the food was good, but used too much onion and garlic in things for me.  The Lemon Souffle for dessert was just right -- not too sweet, not too tart :)  however, eating dinner at 8:30pm at night is a litttttle late for me!

Saturday morning before dress fittings, A and T wanted engagement photos done.  We found a sweet place, little did I know they were going to do three outfit changes, etc etc.  lol only my daughter!  :) :) :)  I think I took over 100 photos.

Right now, after the long drive, and being on the go since 8am Friday, I am crawling into bed
to binge watch a few episodes of Orange is the New Black on Netflix.
Me and Sadie will be snoring soon! hahahah
