What is it about sitting around a campfire, the smell, the logs snapping and crackling, the embers glowing a deep red. We roasted hot dogs on sticks over the fire, they taste SO much better that way! For dessert we had s'mores - graham crackers, hershey bar and a toasted marshmallow squished between the layers. I'll be sticky for days! :) And the romantic heart of my 10 yr old granddaughter had her grabbing my acoustic guitar and playing a few songs around the campfire. We tried singing along, and had a good time. :) Life should always be this easy!
