Weekly Update

6pm and Monday is finally over.  Why are Mondays the hardest day of the week?  Lots of work, and extra time at the gym !  I stopped in during lunch to get some mileage in -- another 2.5 added to my Progress, for a total of 170.5 miles!   *PS:  this is a total after Tuesday's workout!  I'm pleasantly tired, and that's a good thing. I noticed I hadn't posted this one yesterday, so ... updated and posted :D




I'm quite sore after my training today, we did lots of unusual workout moves, so new muscles get used, and then tired :)  Lots of ab work, but the "highlight" (if you want to call it that) was doing pullups on the gravitron machine. I've never been able to do pullups - but with the weight as counterbalance, I can do quite a few!  New arm and back muscles to build :)


Now its 8pm, my day is winding down, and I'm sitting on the patio, under my colorful lights, enjoying the sounds of crickets.  The only down side to this time of year outdoors -- is the hum of everyone else's AC units. heheheh




Yes, its that hellish time of year when summer begins - it was 102F when I got home from work at 5pm, and that's only the beginning!   *It was just as warm today, but that's becoming the norm, and we're acclimating ourselves.  It's going to be a hot one, folks!
