I worked extra late, and came home tired, but still managed to make dinner; still need to pack for my trip to see my Dad - probably for one last time - but I'm feeling uneasy about this trip. Mostly because of work. In December, they usually don't grant days off, but to me, this is extenuating circumstances. I'm sure they won't view it that way, but family is more important to me.
It was a little difficult today to put the "grumpies" behind me because of the sheer volume of work to do, that isn't getting done. But I survived the day, thinking of better things -- and listening to some tunes!

I believe they call that "Camelback Mountain" in the distance.
