Normally, our cold temps are in the 45-50 range. This morning? Its a c-c-c-c-old 27 degrees. Spent yesterday covering plants, moving my pots under the patio, and putting styrofoam cups on the tops of cactus in the ground. (I'll have to add a picture of that, its kind of odd looking!) My heater has been running what sounds like non-stop since 4am. And I have to go out in it, and get my hair done today. Some days, you just don't want to go out into the weather at all! We're spoiled here in the Valley of the Sun - we hardly ever have to delay anything based on weather issues.Got my hair done, then shopped. $10 shirt for work (2), $14 shirt for casual dress, and a pair of jeans... all in all a good day at the store! After, a quick trip to the library for something to read (gotta have something to curl up with in this chilly early morning weather!) and some lunch, now its time to put some spaghetti sauce on to simmer for the afternoon. Ahhh... winter is here :)
