Weigh In Weds

Image result for high five

I am a little sad, bummed out, because my weigh in wasn't what I wanted it to be.  It was down a half pound, though, and down is always better than up!   My PT took  measurements and I lost fat content, so that's a plus in the right direction. :)

In addition to 45 minutes of intense training,
I also logged a total of 12,400+ steps.!!
*high five*   (I gotta say, though, that it was
SO intense, it's now 2 hours post workout,
and my muscles are starting to cramp up!)

I just need to keep up the work the rest of this week, and through the weekend.

Next week will be better with the right set of goals!!!

Float & Sting!

 ..... Float like a butterfly,

sting like a bee .................

With all the training sessions I did in May and June, I earned a free session so today, I worked with Russell -- and yep, you guessed it, we did boxing!  We warmed up with shadow boxing, 25 reps of each different punch, then moved on to the punching bag.  I was throwin' 'em hard n fast, Marcos came over and said "You've got a helluva punch!"  I just grinned, and hit some more.

Then there was the "Ali footwork" - dancing my feet around one of those workout "ladders".  Then came the situps - sitting up then throwing a one-two punch, and back down again.  For a minute. (I always forget to breathe! lol)  *whew*  We did the entire circuit three times, switching it up just a bit, but wow......

It's now six hours later, and I am so feeling the effects of this workout!
(To be honest, I felt like I could crawl in bed and go to sleep at 5:30pm!!! hahahaha)

Any way to make a workout feel like playtime is great!
