Mileage Check

I have worked hard this week to stay on track.  I'm wanting, ----- no, I'm needing ----- to see some results on the scale.  I check at home every few days, and its been teasing me with so many ups and downs that it gets mighty depressing to think I am spending all this time and money on a trainer only to have no results!  Ok.  I lied.  I'm seeing results in the form of body fat and inches, but not on the scale, and us women, we treat that scale as if its like  "The Word From God" -- without the numbers we want to see, we don't feel good about ourselves.  *sigh* 

Even knowing all that logically in my head -- I still want to see some results tomorrow!

Checked my mileage tracker - I'm at 106.6 miles for the year.  Not quite where I wanted to be, but its not easy getting in mileage on training days -- I'm a little tired out to hop on a treadmill *after* training!  But.  I did just that on Monday.  And 4 miles today.  Its a struggle to know how much to eat, and when to eat it.  Eat too much = no results on the scale.  Eat too little, the body slows the metabolism down.  No carbs after 5pm has worked very well for me in the past, and I've stuck to that this week.  I was averaging about 1600 calories a day, and have cut back to 1400 a day for this week to see if that makes a difference.  Keep your fingers crossed for me, I'll be having my weigh in tomorrow!
