We met with a realtor on Thursday, plans are moving ahead to sell mom's home - FINALLY!!
Painter on Tuesday, house cleaner Weds, then photos and open house next weekend.
What a relief it will be for me to have this finally off my plate for good.
Its always kind of sad selling a home if you've lived there a long time, but mom was there just 2 years. Not a lot of time to make many memories!
No more driving over to check after a storm. No more stopping in for misc mail. No more hauling stuff out and finding places for it ... my poor little house is stuffed to the gills. But with cooler temps, I should be able to make some headway on reorganizing it again!!!
