Yes DIET is a four letter word. Ugh. It's so easy to think that a person is going to diet to lose weight. I dislike this word as to me it feels like its temporary. If you're like most people (including me) diet doesn't work. It needs to be a lifestyle. And I'm working on mine (again!)
I joined PF and have been going off and on but I need to kick it up a notch, go every day. I also downloaded the Simple app today. It's a weight loss app that focuses on intermittent fasting, healthy eating and exercise. Surely, with all that combined, I should have some success!! I'm crossing my fingers .... and zipping my lips! Haha only healthy foods, please!
When I log foods, Simple records the time, and rates how balanced the meal is. It does the same for hydration as well. It says I should drink 88 oz, my personal goal is 96 oz per day. Sometimes that's not possible if I'm out running errands!! It also connects to my Fitbit and exercise is recorded as well.
So we shall see how it goes in a few days. Wish me luck. On second thought, wish me success!!!! Thanks!
