And we labored taking care of MrZ and Miss Jo. Its a long day when it's too hot outside to keep kids busy. We spent time in the morning outside, though. Tried our hand at backyard bowling!
Then back inside we go. We played a a fav indoor game of hide and seek. I hide a stack of seashells and they find them. Always fun :) about 2 months ago, we were playing, and one shell stayed hidden, we couldn't find it! Today??? We finally found the missing shell! Woot!!
Miss Jo played in the backyard with her little car and two of my Cabbage Patch babies from the 1980s, Mia and Marty. Marty was Brian's when he was young. He played with him often. At one point he drew a shark on Marty's arm ... it was his tattoo. lol
After our exciting morning, I finished out that day watching the Diamondbacks take on the Dodgers. Good game, but we lost.
