Somehow I wondered if I would even wake up today! or if things would be different somehow. But naw, same as usual stuff: work. hehehe Which, of course, is very busy this time of year. Busier than I felt it should be. So many things are being returned already. Are people just shopping for bargains for themselves, and not waiting for Christmas to open anything? Or are they giving gifts right away, because some other obligations means they won't be getting together on Christmas? All these questions, and no good answers. I know there will be lots of toy returns the first few days after Christmas. A lot of what we're getting right now are clothes, appliances and electronics. I'm gonna stick to my theory that people are shopping for themselves on these bargain items :)
Can't say I've done much shopping myself. I am on a boycott this year. With Christmas on a Tuesday, that will be my only day off; I expect to be working the weekend before and definitely the weekend after Christmas. Which doesn't leave much time for a holiday. As such, I'll ship my kid off to his Dad's, to enjoy the holidays with them and his sister. Just me and Sadie on Christmas Day.... and shhhhhh.... I bought her some new toys, but don't tell her, OK? *chuckles* Although, I must confess, I bought myself some new jammies ... something with sleeves and pants for the winter. I'm thinking they will feel good to crawl into after my hot shower tonight!!
