Thursday

Frustrations abound here tonight.  Sadie has reached a very rambunctious stage.  Or maybe its needy.  Or maybe its "teenage angst" or something.  Her need for attention is very great these days.  Take today, for instance.  After I got home, we walked in the front yard, then went into the backyard to repot the tomato plant.  Being Thursday, its library night, so her and I walked in the Riparian Preserve for almost an hour.  Once we got home, I fed her a treat -- dog food in a pouch that looked like steak and gravy-- She liked it! 

Now, its 8pm and I've done no paperwork, didn't get time to send birthday greetings to my brother, work on paperwork, or pay any bills.  In order to have time away from paying attention to her, I sneak her chicken jerky treats.  But she can't live on a steady diet of them.  Looks like I need to go back to using the kennel for some behavior training.  *sigh*  She sure is a lot of work.

At the same time, we had a nice walk in the park,
the sky was gorgeous,
the weather was perfect :)
