When I walk my neighborhood, I usually take the same path. After 15 years, you'd think there would be a worn path! Haha but I also pass by some of the same neighbors.
Today, one of the men who usually has cars and trucks in his yard hollered at me and followed me for a bit. By the time I heard him (yes, my tunes were cranked!) I turned around and he started chatting me up.
He remembered that I always walked my little pug (Sadie) past his house. He told me he had lost his dog Skip, and recently adopted two more dogs. He told me how he found them, they all need homes. Guess he was trying to influence me to get another dog! (Yeah, no!)
But what was amazing is that I lost Sadie 4 years ago next month. And he still remembered us!!
Totally made me smile!!
