My doc is busy switching meds on me. He started me on a diuretic that took two weeks tonadjust to some mild side effects; now I'm on a calcium blocker and ugh, another two week adjustment period. This gets old really fast!!
It feels like my whole day is spent logging what I eat and drink, my BP, and any symptoms. After every meal, I have to walk 10 min minimum and log that too.
Granted, with all the data condensed to a yellow legal pad, its a good summary to bring to show the doc.
I woke up early and lay in bed trying to "listen" to my body. Was that a creak? Wait, what was that gurgle? Are my wrists or ankles swollen? (Its o'dark hundred, I can barely *see* my ankles) My throat, is it just dry? or is it sore? I hope I'm not catching something. Soon, its time to get up and start my log for today.
Changes in a body as it ages aren't always fun. But it helps to pay aytention and have a list for the doc.
