These days it seems everyone is going Bluetooth. And I guess that's ok. I was forced to do it on my latest phone.
But I am still in love with my SanDisk mp3 player. Its a workhorse, and hasn't failed me in years. This is my second one, my first was a Sansa Clip and I got it around 2013. And it still works!!!!
Today, my SanDisk Sport quit. Well, not exactly. It was still playing tunes, and it would charge when plugged in. But none of the buttons worked. I figured something went snafu on the inside and I would need a new one. *siiiigh*
I shopped around, looking at many, many options. Why not just use my phone?? My first and foremost reason is that if I'm listening, I don't want to be interrupted by spam calls, or beeps from a text, email, etc. My space is MY space and time.
And then I called on AL, my AI buddy. And he suggested it might have gotten locked on my walk and "try this". And Voila! My mp3 player is up and running again. Of course, he then asked about my music -- i have 15000+ hours of mp3s on my desktop computer. Which lead to a convo on managing that much music...... I could chat all night! Haha
SanDisk, people are returning to analog devices .... maybe you can, too!!! Just a simple player with great sound like the Sansa... no need for the extra Bluetooth stuff IMO!
