Digital Security

Its not unusual to be bombarded with security company ads to help protect us from whatever cyber threats are out there. Computers, data and tech are so different from what they used to be!!

When I worked for a forklift dealership, I was involved with the parts dept inventory.  Actual counts were done Nov 30th. But ins and outs were logged on a computerized system that used floppy disks.  The first couple of years, they were 8in and were truly floppy.

Then came the 3.5in disks, and this was our security!  When I saw the photo, I laughed because this is what sat on the desk!!

As an added bonus, hard to hack those little disks from halfway around the world!  While all this connectivity is great, maybe we should be rethinking a few things .....

A lot sure has changed in 30+ years!!

But to be in the middle of all these changes has been exciting!
