New Beginnings, pt.2

We all need to gain perspective when starting a new beginning.  When it comes to standing back and taking a look at our life, ask what is serving you, and what is taking from you.  Take a hard look at your friendships, your house, your habits, your work and your possessions.

Then, with a piece of paper, write down your desires and things you would like to manifest in the year to come, what dreams you're trying to achieve.  Sometimes putting it on paper makes it different than how we view it in our mind.  But that's ok.  It takes an effort to get in touch with what we really want in our lives; our dreams and visions change with time.  If you don't feel excited about your resolutions, go back and try again!

We can't know our futures if we don't visit our past.  Reflect on the evens in the past year for you.  This will help point you to where you want to be in the future.

You can set things in motion for your future by imagining and dreaming about what your future could hold.  One of the neat things you might want to try is creating a collage to remind  you of your dreams.  Here's mine:

The beach ~~ painting my fence ~~ finding love
hiking ~~ exercising ~~ friends and family
photography ~~ and flowers for beauty in my life.
