Holy Buckets!

We had a huge rainstorm move thru here last night... and as my aunt would say "Holy Buckets!"   I wouldn't be surprised if they report more than two inches fell in our neighborhood. The entire backyard was under water, along with the front walk as well.  And lucky me , I seem to have a roof leak now, it was dripping into my bedroom.

I walked Sadie before 6am (again) and the basin where we walk in the grass was flooded entirely.

I will be spending a good part of today cleaning up the mess in the back yard.  The water was more than an inch deep on the patio, and once the water drained, it left behind an entire coating of silt.  A trip to Lowe's will be in order as well to pick up something to seal the roof.  Being a home owner means there's always something that needs to be done.  Such joy!
