Why Go?

Its hot and muggy here in the Valley of the Sun.  And with all of the pressures, and the lack of sleep this week, it would be easy to just skip the gym altogether.  People have asked me: Why GO?

But that's the best time, the best reason to go to the gym.  It's a place where I am in control, the only choices are the ones I make.  My body responds and diligently performs, making the muscles work hard and burn, sweat pouring off me.    And it feels good!

It releases stress, and you clear your mind, focusing only on your body and how hard its working.  The results are fantastic if you keep at it, and your mind becomes more in tune with your body.  Plus, you're in a better mood as well.  Especially if you've changed your eating habits and eliminated processed foods and sugars!

So instead of asking "Why go?"  I say "Why not???"
