Thunderstorms

I was born during a midsummer thunderstorm in Minnesota.
And I have always loved thunderstorms.
Whether those two things are related, I can't be sure, but ... it sounds cute :)

We had a little lightning in the distance Tuesday night, and a few very isolated sprinkles.  I was so disappointed that I wasn't able to get any pictures of lightning.  But I sat out there trying.

Now its Weds night..... errrr...3am Thursday morning, and I am laying here listening to the wind whistle and the rain falling.  There's nothing better than a good desert rainstorm.  I love the smell of rain, especially in the desert.  And when the rain is done, the air smells cleaner.

Sometimes a thunderstorm is like a good cry, it washes away a lot of things, and creates a fresh start.

I hope that's a sign that today will be a very good day :)
Happy Thursday everyone!

Sunshine is delicious,
rain is refreshing,
wind braces us up,
 snow is exhilarating;
there is really no such thing as bad weather,
only different kinds of good weather.
