Ok, this one's for the ladies.... How many of you have bought some kind of lingerie at the store because you think your man will like it, you're hoping that it will be something he says "wow" when you put it on? C'mon, fess up ladies, I'm betting we've all done it. Yeah, I did it too. Nothing fancy, nothing expensive, but I bought a piece of lingerie because I thought I would be wearing it .... to make him smile, to hear his "wow".
So ..... my question to all of you who've done this: What do you do with that article of clothing now? I've bought many things over the years because *I* like it, because it made me feel pretty, or I liked the color, or whatever reason. And when I buy something for me, its ok to wear it, use it, when I'm in the mood and not feel any attachment to what it stands for. But now this thing is sitting in my dresser drawer.
In my weird sense of humor, there are times when I have wondered if I could box it up and ship it off, with a note that reads "Yeah. You could have seen this on me, and taken it off of me. Your loss." Or. I considered taking a pair of scissors to it, cutting it into tatters, putting it on and snapping a picture with the caption ".... shredded, just like my heart..." Still a possibility.... hmm.
